If the lower frame of your semitrailer’s backdoor already has holes and you have chosen a lock suitable for the model of your semitrailer, skip steps 1 and 2. If there are no holes in the frame to the right of the handle or the chosen lock is not suitable for this model, please follow steps 1 and 2.

Step 1

Place the lock’s body over the door handle and mark the location of the fastening bolt on the semitrailer’s frame.

Step 2

Drill a hole with a 8.5-9 mm metal drill bit. For easier drilling it is better to drill a 3 mm hole first.

Step 3

Place the fastening bolt through the frame, to the right of the handle.

Variant 1. The frame already has holes

Variant 2. The frame does not already have holes

Step 4

Place the body of the lock over the handle so the fastening bolt goes through the smaller hole in the lock’s body.

Step 5

Fasten the secret nut through the bigger hole of the lock’s body to the fastening bolt. To make fastening easier, first place the secret nut in the socket of the wrench.

The lock is now in its working position! To open it, please follow the steps above in the opposite order (5-4-3).

Step 1

Place the lock’s body onto fixing bot of spare wheel.

 

Step 2

Place the secret nut through the bigger hole of the lock’s body into the fixing bolt.

 

Step 3

Fix the  secret nut wth using the wrench
